NCD Alliance Lanka is marked by its registration as a company limited by guarantee no: 3215 according to the Companies Act, No.7 of 2007 of the Registrar General of Companies in Sri Lanka with effect from 14 July 2016.
NCD Alliance Lanka is a member association affiliated to NCDA Geneva.
Hypertension is when there the blood pressure is elevated. The higher the pressure, the harder the heart has to pump. It may lead to heart attacks and strokes if the blood flow is blocked to the heart or brain due to a build-up of fatty deposits in the blood vessels. Strokes occur when the blockage is in the brain or there is a bleed from a blood vessel.
